GWPC-EXC Generator Excitation Control Panel

GWPC-EXC Generator Excitation Control Panel

Desc
  • The GWPC-EXC Generator Excitation Control Panel is an essential control component of excitation systems for synchronous generators with ratings up to 300 MW. It continuously measures generator-terminal voltage, stator current, frequency, reactive power, power factor, and other operating quantities, and regulates the DC output of the thyristor rectifier accordingly. The controlled excitation output maintains the generator-terminal voltage at the required level and enables the generating unit to meet its reactive power control requirements during grid-connected operation.
  • The GWPC-EXC provides automatic voltage regulation, manual field current control, operating limiters, logic control, fault monitoring, HMI, and communication functions. Depending on the generator rating, excitation method, and project requirements, the power rectifier, field-flashing unit, de-excitation unit, and excitation transformer may be supplied as integrated assemblies or as separate panels and equipment.
  • The panel is widely used in hydropower plants, thermal power plants, industrial captive power plants, biomass power plants, waste-heat power generation facilities, and other facilities that operate synchronous generators. It plays an important role in ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of the generator.

GWPC400-CMC Common Measurement and Control Panel dual-cabinet configuration by GoWatron

GWPC400-CMC Station Common Measurement and Control Panel

Desc
  • The GWPC400-CMC Station Common Measurement and Control Panel is designed for station-wide common signal acquisition, busbar voltage supervision, equipment status monitoring and remote control in substations, power plants and renewable energy facilities.
  • Built around the GWPR400-CMC Common Measurement and Control Unit, the panel serves as an interface between primary equipment, station auxiliary systems and the substation automation system or SCADA platform. It collects analogue measurements, binary status signals and alarm indications while providing supervised control and remote regulation functions for designated station equipment.
  • The GWPC400-CMC is suitable for both conventional and digital substation applications. It can be configured for projects at voltage levels such as 132 kV, 66 kV and 33 kV, as well as other voltage levels subject to project requirements.

GWPC-DFR Digital Fault Recorder Panel right view by GoWatron

GWPC-DFR Digital Fault Recorder Panel

Desc
  • The GWPC-DFR Digital Fault Recorder Panel is designed for power plants, substations, renewable energy facilities, and industrial power systems. It continuously monitors and records electrical quantities, equipment status signals, and protection events before, during, and after power system faults and disturbances.
  • By integrating transient fault recording, continuous disturbance recording, sequence-of-events recording, fault analysis, and time synchronisation, the GWPC-DFR provides reliable data for reconstructing the chronology of disturbance events, analysing protection performance, locating faults, and evaluating the dynamic and operational performance of the power system.
  • The GWPC-DFR is primarily a monitoring, recording, and analysis system. It does not replace protection relays and is not normally used to issue protection trip commands.

  • The GWPC300‑LP Line Protection & Control Panel is a complete bay‑level solution developed by GoWatron for medium‑voltage power systems up to 33 kV. The panel is equipped with the GWPR320‑LD Line Fiber‑optic Differential Protection Relay, the GWPR320‑DIS Line Distance Protection Relay, and the GWPR320‑BCU Bay Control Unit. Fiber‑optic pilot differential protection and distance protection are implemented on two physically independent protection relays, adopting a separate‑hardware main‑plus‑backup protection architecture that integrates line protection with bay‑level measurement and control functions.
  • Designed in compliance with IEC, ANSI, IEEE and other international standards, protection trip logic runs locally within the protection devices and is independent of the station‑level communication network. Even if the supervisory communication link is interrupted, the protection devices can still perform fault discrimination and trip output autonomously. The panel supports IEC 61850, IEC 60870‑5‑104, and DNP3.0 communication protocols for seamless integration with SCADA and substation automation systems. It is applicable to utility substations, industrial substations, renewable‑energy step‑up stations, and overseas power projects.
  • Panel dimensions: 2260 × 800 × 600 mm (H × W × D).
