Digital Intelligent Motor Protection Relays

The GWPR200‑M is a motor protection relay developed by GoWatron. It provides integrated protection, measurement, control and communication for asynchronous motors operating in unearthed, resistance‑earthed and solidly‑earthed power systems rated up to 35 kV. The relay supports both centralized panel mounting and decentralized installation directly in switchgear.

• Equipped with 2 Ethernet ports supporting IEC 60870‑5‑103 over Ethernet;
• 1 RS‑485 interface supporting Modbus RTU;
• Supports multiple time‑synchronization methods, including SNTP, IRIG‑B and message‑based time synchronization.
• The relay can be easily integrated into a power monitoring or SCADA system, providing remote measurement, remote signalling, remote control and transmission of protection events.

• The GWPR100-I digital integrated protection relay is independently developed by GoWatron. It adopts a 32-bit embedded microprocessor architecture that integrates protection, measurement, control and communication functions into one single unit. The device is especially suitable for protection applications in ring main units and package substations. It applies to medium and low voltage distribution systems with rated voltages up to 11 kV and 13.8 kV, covering feeders, distribution transformers, shunt capacitor banks, bus tie breakers and asynchronous motors.
• This relay complies with IEC and GB EMC standards. It supports cyclic storage of 128 fault event logs and 8 groups of non-volatile setting groups, and is equipped with a Chinese LCD human-machine interface. Two installation modes are available: decentralized mounting on local switchgear panels and centralized rack mounting in control rooms, making it suitable for complex operating conditions of industrial plants, photovoltaic power stations and substations.

• The GWPR300-MI is a motor integrated differential protection relay developed by GoWatron. It is applicable to 0.4kV~13.8kV low and medium voltage asynchronous motors and compatible with various CT and PT connection configurations. It comprehensively covers fault protection under all motor operating conditions, real-time electrical quantity acquisition, remote monitoring and local commissioning, realizing integrated protection, measurement & control and communication functions.

The device is equipped with multiple independent communication interfaces:

• Dual Ethernet ports: Support IEC 104, IEC 61850 optional, meeting redundant networking requirements for intelligent substations;
• RS485 port: Standard Modbus-RTU, suitable for local cabinet monitoring.

The GWPR300-M Motor Protection Relay is primarily used for the protection and control of large asynchronous motors with rated voltage classes of 33kV, 11kV, 6.6kV, and below. It is widely deployed in the power, petrochemical, metallurgical, coal, water conservancy, and mining industries.

• Interfaces: 2 × Ethernet, 2 × RS485 (the second RS485 port is shared with the time sync port, selectable via configuration).
• Protocols: IEC 103, IEC 104, Modbus RTU; IEC 61850 (optional).
