Q:Are GoWatron products designed according to international standards?
Selected GoWatron products are designed with reference to applicable IEC and IEEE standards, depending on the product category, model and project requirements.
Protection relays may be designed and tested with reference to applicable parts of the IEC 60255 series. Communication functions may support IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP, depending on the selected model and hardware configuration.
The applicable standards, supported protocol editions, test requirements and certification status should be confirmed for the specific product model and project before ordering.

Supported IEC 61850 functions may include MMS communication, GOOSE messaging, logical-node data modelling and time synchronization for integration with substation automation and SCADA systems.
