Digital Line Protection Relay

• The GWPR100-I digital integrated protection relay is independently developed by GoWatron. It adopts a 32-bit embedded microprocessor architecture that integrates protection, measurement, control and communication functions into one single unit. The device is especially suitable for protection applications in ring main units and package substations. It applies to medium and low voltage distribution systems with rated voltages up to 11 kV and 13.8 kV, covering feeders, distribution transformers, shunt capacitor banks, bus tie breakers and asynchronous motors.
• This relay complies with IEC and GB EMC standards. It supports cyclic storage of 128 fault event logs and 8 groups of non-volatile setting groups, and is equipped with a Chinese LCD human-machine interface. Two installation modes are available: decentralized mounting on local switchgear panels and centralized rack mounting in control rooms, making it suitable for complex operating conditions of industrial plants, photovoltaic power stations and substations.

The GWPR200-L Feeder Protection Relay is specially designed for feeder switch cabinets and independently developed by GoWatron. It is applicable to distribution lines of 35kV and below with ungrounded, resistance-grounded and arc suppression coil neutral systems (consult the manufacturer for solidly grounded systems). Two installation modes are available: embedded local mounting inside switch cabinets and centralized panel mounting in control rooms. The device integrates line fault protection, high-precision electrical measurement and control, multi-channel remote signal acquisition, fault recording, SOE event logging and multi-protocol communication in one unit.

• Equipped with dual Ethernet + RS485 dual-channel communication hardware, it is compatible with conventional substation automation systems and digital distribution substations.
• Standard communication protocols: Modbus RTU, IEC 60870-5-103, supporting full uploading of measured values, remote status signals, protection operations, alarms, fault recording files and protection setting values;
• Optional extended function: Dual-port Ethernet IEC 103 communication, compatible with digital distribution reconstruction projects.

The GWPR320-LD Fiber-Optic Line Differential Protection Relay is independently developed and manufactured by GoWatron, designed for power transmission and distribution lines rated at 66kV, 33kV and 10kV. It serves as the main protection device for overhead transmission lines, cable feeders and transformer outgoing feeders. The device supports flush mounting on local switchgears and centralized panel mounting in control rooms. It integrates fiber-optic current differential main protection, comprehensive directional phase and zero-sequence backup protection, multi-channel remote signal acquisition, electrical parameter measurement, fault recording, sequence-of-events (SOE) recording, multi-protocol communication and multi-mode time synchronization functions into a single compact unit.

Equipped with dual-Ethernet and dual-channel RS485 communication hardware, the device is fully compatible with various substation integrated automation systems.

• Standard Communication Protocols: IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus RTU. It supports full uploading of measured electrical values, remote signaling status, fault event records, fault recording files and protection setting parameters.
• Optional Communication Protocol: Full IEC 61850 standard protocol suite (supporting MMS and GOOSE profiles), which meets the networking requirements of digital intelligent substations.

GWPR320-DIS numerical Line Distance Protection Relay is independently developed and manufactured by GoWatron. It is specially designed for 35kV and below distribution lines with neutral ungrounded or resistance-earthed power systems. The device supports both on-site cabinet mounting and control room panel mounting, integrating comprehensive fault protection, fault location, three-phase auto-reclosing and four-remote functions (telemetry, telesignalling, telecontrol, teleregulation) into one single unit.

• It is equipped with dual Ethernet ports and RS485 dual communication interfaces, compatible with most substation integrated automation systems.
• Standard communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-103, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus RTU/TCP. These protocols fully support uploading telemetry data, telesignalling status, fault records and protection settings.
• Optional communication protocol: IEC 61850 (supports MMS and GOOSE), which satisfies the networking requirements of intelligent digital substations.

The GWPR300-L Line Protection Relay is mainly applied to the protection and control of incoming and outgoing feeder switchgear for 66kV, 33kV, 22kV and 11kV systems. This numerical relay integrates protection, remote control, telemetry, remote signalling and remote regulation functions, delivering high-performance microprocessor-based protection.

• Communication Function: Fitted as standard with 2 Ethernet ports (IEC103/IEC104) and 1 RS485 port (Modbus-RTU). An additional 2 Ethernet ports supporting IEC61850 are optional.
• Time Synchronization Function: Supports IEEE 1588 PTP (message-based synchronization), SNTP and IRIG-B.
• Fault Wave Recording Function: It can store 128 records each for protection events and alarm events, 128 remote signalling records, 128 operation logs, 16 self-check records and 32 fault wave records. Relevant time stamps, values and action information can be fully saved.
• Measurement & Control Function: Measures three-phase voltage, current, power, power factor, frequency, electric energy and other electrical parameters. It is configured with 21 active digital inputs, 13 independent relay outputs and 1 power-loss signal output.
