The GWSC-PV Solar PV SCADA System is an integrated monitoring and protection platform designed for all voltage levels of solar PV grid connection, ranging from 0.4kV low-voltage distributed systems to 11kV/33kV medium-voltage collection networks and 132kV high-voltage booster stations.
Built on a hierarchical-distributed architecture, bay-level units comprise dedicated grid-interconnection protection relays and distributed bay-mounted protection devices. The system covers full-station electrical data acquisition, equipment status supervision, grid-connection safety protection, closed-loop AGC/AVC power regulation, millisecond-response primary frequency control (PFC), solar power forecasting, optional wide-band oscillation monitoring, digital fault recording & alarm, energy statistics, and utility dispatch communication. It fully complies with utility grid-access requirements for renewable energy: observable, measurable, adjustable, and controllable.
The system supports mainstream power communication protocols including IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus-TCP, and IEC 61850. It seamlessly interfaces with inverters, compact substations, combiner boxes, weather stations, energy meters, and utility dispatch master stations. It is applicable to both small-to-medium distributed and large-scale centralized PV power plants, supporting local on-site operation and remote centralized O&M. The system can also be expanded to incorporate energy storage systems (ESS) for coordinated PV-storage regulation.

GWPR350-TF Transformer Protection and Control IED

The GWPR350-TF is a multifunctional IED that combines transformer protection, measurement & control, and protocol gateway capabilities. It provides dedicated trip protection for the box-type substation, aggregates data from combiner boxes, inverters, and video surveillance systems, and forwards it to the SCADA system. With support for both on-site control and remote supervision, it ensures maximum security and stability for renewable energy.
