GWPR300‑C Capacitor bank Protection Relay
The GWPR300‑C Capacitor bank Protection Relay is designed for the protection, measurement, and control of shunt capacitors in unearthed or low‑resistance‑grounded neutral systems with rated voltages below 132 kV.
As an integrated protection‑measurement‑control device, it features communication interfaces that enable seamless integration into automation systems together with other protection and control equipment. The relay is suitable for both panel‑mounting in protection cabinets and local installation on switchgear.
- Communication – 2 Ethernet ports (IEC 104), 2 Ethernet ports (IEC 61850, optional), 1 RS485 port (Modbus-RTU).
- Time Synchronization – Supports message-based sync, SNTP, and IRIG-B.
- Printing – Supports serial dot-matrix printers for settings, event records, and fault waveforms.
Product Introduction
The GWPR300‑C is a digital protection relay designed for medium‑voltage shunt capacitor banks. It integrates comprehensive current, voltage, zero‑sequence, negative‑sequence and non‑electrical protection functions, featuring configurable alarm/trip logic for overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, unbalance and earth‑fault conditions. Supporting ANSI device numbers, it provides fault recording, event logging and standard communication interfaces. The relay accommodates multiple capacitor‑bank connection configurations, delivering comprehensive, fast and reliable protection for reactive‑power compensation capacitor banks in substations and industrial distribution networks.
