Product Overview
- The GWPR200-AIP Anti-Islanding Protection Relay is widely adopted in photovoltaic power plants, particularly for distributed PV projects connected to the grid at 11 kV and 22 kV voltage levels. When unintended islanding occurs, the device trips the grid-connection switch to ensure operational safety. It can be installed as part of a panel assembly or locally mounted inside switchgear cubicles.
- By monitoring electrical parameters in real time, the relay detects islanding conditions within milliseconds and rapidly disconnects the power supply to maintain secure system operation.
- Its core protection functions cover multi-dimensional criteria including voltage, frequency, and power direction. Equipped with intelligent communication and automatic grid-connection capabilities, the relay is suitable for various new energy power stations and industrial and commercial grid-connected PV applications, delivering “last-mile” protection for the power grid.
