GWPR300‑GT Generator‑Transformer differential Unit Protection Relay
Product Desc
- GWPR300‑GT Generator‑Transformer Unit differential Protection Relay is an integrated protection, measurement and control device launched by GoWatron specifically for generator‑transformer units. It is designed for small‑to‑medium‑size generator‑transformer units with capacity up to 10 MW (typical application scope; other capacities can be customized), compatible with generator‑transformer connections at voltage levels up to 132 kV. It supports both centralized panel‑mounted and decentralized field‑mounted deployment. It is mainly applied for relay protection and local / remote measurement‑control requirements of generator‑transformer units in self‑supply power plants and small‑scale power stations.
- Communication: Dual Ethernet ports support IEC 60870‑5‑104 / 103 protocols, IEC 61850 is optional; RS485 supports Modbus‑RTU.
- Time Synchronization: Supports IRIG‑B (DC code), SNTP, message‑based time synchronization and other time‑sync modes.

Product Description
- GWPR300‑GT Generator‑Transformer Unit differential Protection Relay adopts a high‑performance 32‑bit microcontroller integrated with DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and FPU (Floating‑Point Unit), equipped with 16‑bit high‑precision AD sampling. It integrates main protection, backup protection, measurement, control and fault recording functions.
- Adopting fully‑enclosed chassis construction, high‑voltage and low‑voltage circuits are strictly isolated. Both hardware and software anti‑interference measures are implemented to satisfy stringent EMC, insulation and mechanical performance criteria.
- Modular plug‑in hardware consists of AC module, power supply module, output module, digital‑input module, CPU module and man‑machine interface module. It is configured with 21 active digital inputs, 11 protection outputs, 2 signal outputs and 1 power‑failure alarm output.
- Equipped with LCD + keypad HMI, it supports parameter setting, event review, fault oscillography, local output trip test and serial‑port printing.
- The device automatically performs CT (Current Transformer) balance scaling and phase compensation for each side of the generator‑transformer unit. It implements main unit differential protection including differential quick trip and restrained differential, together with comprehensive backup protection and abnormal alarm monitoring. Protection elements are modular and independently configurable. Setting groups and soft‑logic switches support both local and remote modification & management.
