Product Overview
- This GWPR200‑GB/LV Low‑Voltage Generator Backup Protection Relay is a dedicated backup protection relay for low‑voltage generators. It is equipped with a large‑screen LCD with Chinese character display, enabling real‑time monitoring of electrical parameters including voltage, current, power and frequency, and fully visualizes the whole process of protection operation. All relay output channels are independent; outputs for tripping, remote‑signaling, alarm and fault outputs can be flexibly configured. The built‑in operating circuit enables direct circuit‑breaker control. Featuring complete self‑diagnostics and event‑logging capabilities, it delivers reliable operation. The hardware supports two deployment modes: distributed installation inside switchgears or centralized panel mounting.
Main Functions
- (ANSI 50/51V) Three‑section Overcurrent Protection (Trip, with Composite Voltage Blocking)
- (ANSI 51‑V) Inverse‑time Overcurrent (Trip, Normal / Very / Extreme inverse characteristics optional, with Composite Voltage Blocking)
- (ANSI 46) Overload (Alarm / Trip selectable)
- (ANSI 51N) Residual (Zero‑sequence) Overcurrent (Alarm / Trip selectable)
- (ANSI 59) Overvoltage (Trip)
- (ANSI 27) Undervoltage (Alarm / Trip selectable)
- (ANSI 81O) Overfrequency (Trip)
- (ANSI 81U) Underfrequency (Trip)
- (ANSI 32) Reverse Power (Trip)
- (ANSI 60) CT Wire‑Break (Alarm)
- (ANSI 60) PT Wire‑Break (Alarm)
- (ANSI 74) Control Circuit Break (Alarm)
- (ANSI 27‑S) System Loss‑of‑Voltage (Alarm / Trip selectable)
- (-) Spare Non‑electrical Input 1/2 (Alarm / Trip selectable)
Measurement & Control Functions:
- Acquisition of three‑phase voltages, three‑phase currents, 3I₀, power, power factor, frequency, and four‑quadrant energy metering; 14‑channel remote digital input (DI) acquisition, 8‑channel relay output, SOE (Sequence of Events) recording.
Application Scenarios
- Low‑voltage generator sets rated up to 1000 kW at 400 V, serving as a generator backup protection relay;
- Local distributed installation inside low‑voltage generator switchgear;
- Centralized panel‑mounted installation in substations and distribution rooms;
- Protection, measurement and monitoring for diesel generator sets, small‑sized synchronous generators and other low‑voltage power generation equipment;
- Low‑voltage power generation projects requiring fault recording, SOE, and remote communication for uploading protection and telemetry data.
